Ordered two of these individual chairs to complete the set of 4 I got with my extendable table. We didn’t put together the first four (assembly was complimentary with that order) so this was my first time putting them together. Pretty easy and didn’t have much trouble. Love these chairs. They seat is very wide and comfortable. The cross cross back is just the look I was going for. Note that with the matching table, you can’t fit all six chairs under the table. Since our toddler usually sits at the end and likes to get in and out of his seat often during a meal, his chair is usually always pushed out anyway, so this doesn’t bother me, but worth noting. The seat cushions are ones I found at a yard sale so not the right size but good enough for now. The chairs are sturdy and this set overall is the perfect blend of casualfarmhouse without being *too* rustic. I would give a 10 if I could. I have a bad back and so finding a chair that is comfortable for both short and long periods of time is crucial. This chair is amazing! It hugs just right at the bottom of the shoulder blades and but is designed with a slight flair so as you recline a bit it to adjusts to hold your back without you feeling stiff or in a position that isn’t real. We actually like that they provide the ability to have dinner and then if we choose continue at the table with conversation or even games for long periods of time thereafter. We ordered 8 of these in light green, and I LOVE the color. It’s very pretty!! We have the chairs in our dining room, and they get used fairly often, and are holding up well after three years. I really love these chairs. They are sturdy, great quality, and the wood is beautiful. They were also a great price. My only complaint is they are bluish gray and not actually charcoal as pictured and advertised, which is not at all what I was going for. I've added a picture of them against a gray wall in my home. Overall these are nice chairs for the price. They seem comfortable — I haven’t spent a ton of time sitting in them yet, but my cats absolutely love lounging on them, so that’s a good sign . A couple things to note: the armrest placement feels a bit off — it’s not super comfortable to actually rest your arms on them. The style kind of reminds me of a doctor’s office waiting room, which isn’t bad but not exactly the vibe I expected. Assembly was mostly easy, but one frustrating part is that there are no pre-drilled screw holes on the bottom. You’re pretty much guessing where to screw the seat in, which was a little annoying.
