I was really surprised with how beautiful and well crafted this night stand is. The table reads modern/retro/1960’s, which isn’t my favorite style, but I needed a table and it is really gorgeous. The wood is a warm, rich, walnut, with a reddish brown stain. The legs continue to the top of the table, leaving round circles on each corner of the table top. The drawer glides easily in and out, and the hardware is attractive. I may replace the knob, as it’s not my favorite, but that is my only very mild complaint. The directions state to assemble it on a soft surface, and this is true because you need to turn the piece multiple directions. The dimensions are 19 wide by 15 and a 12, deep and 21 inches high. The drawers are five inches deep. The piece is heavy and good quality. The corners are rounded, as is the base, and that added to the assembly time, but it does give it a nice finished look. This is a very well made piece of furniture. It is definitely solid wood. It comes mostly put together, but you do have to attach the legs. It may be took 10 minutes. It matches the description.
