Overall a nice solid table. It is real wood, not some composite “wood.” The only things I really dislike about it are 1. The legs are held by the diagonal supports which you have to screw on with a wing nut. It feels like something that would pose a risk of pinched fingers around little ones. 2. It is HEAVY. Wires run from a power source on the floor through the legs and cabling cutouts in the modesty panel and up to desktops for instant connectivity. The tabletop is constructed of a thermal fused melamine laminate tabletop that is 1-inch thick and finished with a black T-Mold edge band. This tabletop is double-sided, simply pick the side you like and install the base on the other. Rounded corners make the table safer for everyone. Self tapping wood screws and a placement template are included. Laminates are scratch, stain and scald resistant and wipe clean easily. The legs and modesty panel are constructed of a sturdy metal with a stylish black finish to match any decor.
