It wasn’t difficult, just a bit finicky and required a few adjustments before everything lined up evenly. Just received this product yesterday, quick shipping. I bought two to replace my nightstands for extra shoe storage. Love the color. Sturdy and heavy. I put them together by myself, took about 3hrs. Doors are a little complicated to adjust to get them perfectly even but with a little patience and tweeking (as noted in the directions) they turned out great. Other photos show gaps in the doors when closed or not even when installed. There is a way to adjust these one hanging easily but the reviewers must not have followed these last directions. I tried to get a close up of the doors in the picture. You can see they turned out even after tweaking and patiences based on very last instructions that clearly others skipped.. Rebecca. Love the deep rich navy color of this piece. It took me approximately 2 hours to assemble and it wasn’t too difficult to follow the directions. All the pieces were included and it was well packed. There was a slight imperfection on one of the drawers and the drawers don’t fit perfectly. That’s a little disappointing. The baskets are awesome and overall, this table will serve its purpose aesthetically but I don’t know how well it will hold if I use it daily, for functional purposes. This is way better than I thought it was going to be. It’s really beautiful and it was so easy to assemble with only like 12 or less bolts to put in. No special tools were required and I was able to do it myself in less than 15 minutes.
