Okay so when purchasing this mattress I did not read the reviews before buying... BUT what I did do to help with expanding mattress I removed both zipper covers to get good air flow (cold air slows the process) and left covers off for over 40 hours. I noticed corners were not fully expanded so after doing some googling I saw some tips saying a steamer and massaging areas that needed expansion would help, if you don't have steamer use clothes iron with the steaming button. After steaming all corners and edges that needed it I let sit for 10 to 15 minutes and saw a big difference. Once I put zippered covers back on they fit nice and snug and were no longer loose. While I don’t think this would be a great mattress for daily use, this was a good mattress for the trundle portion of my kid’s bed. It is slim (in a month, it only expanded to about 5.5”), and it’s quite firm as it obviously doesn’t have room for all the support/comfort layers that a regular width mattress can have. But it fits very well in a trundle bed (even with bedding), is more comfortable than I expected it to be, and is more than fine for occasional use.
