This is a very nice sofa. The sitting posture is very upright, so it's a more formal feeling couch. The cushions are very comfortable for a long sit. The seat height is tall, but there have been no complaints from short-legged family members. Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway.
