I was shocked at the amount of time it took to put together because I am a very experienced DIYer. It was atleast 15 hours for my husband & I to sort pieces and parts (some not marked) and put the desk together. It really looks great, I’m just not sure about the ergonomics for a professional manicurist like myself. The top is very high (clients are commenting) yet I cannot raise my chair because the lower shelf hits my legs. I’m am about 5ft 4in and a 120 pounds so it’s not a size thing. I had to drill a hole for the cords and the power strip popped like it could be defective so I am not using it. I do love the storage and the bottom shelf holds my dust collector when not in use.. Once you get it together, it's really nice. Have two of them. Took a full day to do the first one, then we still had to take part of it apart to reverse three pieces so the bolts didn't show. Wonderful amount of desktop space. Difficult to get the cabinet doors to hang so they touch in the center. We didn't hook up the LED light yet. Still working on getting the second put together. The nail desk itself is great. My daughter loves it. It came with damage to two pieces and the screws were too long. While putting it together my husband almost went entirely through the table top. We had to get new screws for it, but there is now a visible bump on the top where he almost screwed through it.
