Just opened the boxes and I love the color. I have been wanting a set like this for a while now and I am so happy that they were on sale. I took away one star because one of the bowls has several bubbles and blemishes. I am glad that we dont have a dishwasher because it would make it worse since there is a hole in the outer coating and the excessive heat from a dishwasher, plus the water pressure would ruin it completely. I love, love, love this dish set. The stoneware is high quality. The coating on them almost seems like porcelain but with the sturdy weight of stoneware. The ribbed texture and two toned design are my favorite thing. It makes the dishes look very modern and distinct. The high ridges on the plates are great for saucy foods and for stacking them in the cupboard. The mugs are also a great size. This is a set that I highly recommend!
