I honestly love this couch way more than I expected to. The green velvet color is gorgeous in person — it gives that moodyjewel-tone vibe without looking too dark or cheap. It completely elevated my apartment aesthetic and became the centerpiece of my living room immediately. The size worked really well for my space too since I’m in an apartment and didn’t want something massive or overwhelming. It has that modern, clean look while still feeling cozy. The velvet is soft, the tufting looks expensive, and it photographs insanely well. Assembly was pretty straightforward overall. I was able to get it together without wanting to launch myself into another dimension, which already gives it bonus points. One thing I did NOT expect is how weirdly easy this fabric is to clean. I’ve gotten spills, stains, marker, and even BBQ sauce out of it using just cool water and a tiny bit of dish soap. I was honestly convinced some of those stains were permanent and they came right out without ruining the fabric or color. That alone makes this couch worth it to me because life happens and I didn’t want something high-maintenance. Comfort-wise, I’d say it’s more supportivefirm than cloud-soft, but I actually prefer that because it keeps the couch looking structured instead of saggy after a few months. Great for lounging, gaming, scrolling for hours, or having friends over. For the price, I genuinely think it looks much more expensive than it is. Happy with this velvety couch/sectional — perfect fit for this space and very soft as well as supportive seating. Blue is not the darker navy as pictured but it works for us. Blue on the chaise piece and the rest of the couch is slightly “off” but it helps to brush forward or backward (by hand or vac) the velvet fabric (pretty sure it’s an imperfection only I will notice now). To say putting this thing together is a real pain in the @ss is an understatement: it is no doubt a 2 or a 3 person job and will cause you some sweating: dress accordingly and set aside the time. It also arrived without the necessary hardware and wasn’t clear that the assy instructions (and part of the hardware with the legs) were tucked in a secret under-zippered pocket, so texted Customer Svc and wound up with a deeper discount due to lack of hardware replacements (involved a trip to the hardware store). The sofa is gorgeous, however, it’s more of an ivory color. Also, I paid extra for white glove delivery / setup. When the rather large and heavy boxes arrived, they were dropped off outside my front door without notice (no knock on the door or ringing of the doorbell). Also, after assembly, the boxes weren’t disposed of; I was advised that I was responsible for hauling the boxes away. I’m handicapped and this was very difficult.
