There's so much to love about this lightweight quilt set...it is a beautiful design and the color of the body is beautiful. It is very soft and would be perfect for most nights in the south. HOWEVER, the color of the trim and the backs of the shams is not as shown in the photos on the online listing! It is a VIBRANT yellow that clashes with the warm gold (with a hint of burnt orange) of the pattern on the quilt. I left it on my bed for a day and evening, trying to accept the clash of colors. I use it as a secondary blanket in our guest bedroom, and the mustard yellow color pairs nicely with the other colors in the room. The quilt is soft, comfortable, and provides a nice bit of extra warmth and weight without being too heavy. We’ve had this set for almost seven years, and it has held up really well. The quality is still great, and the quilt remains soft and in excellent condition. The pillowcases are also soft and comfortable, although they run a little small for our pillows.
