Very sturdy ,the music feature is a plus. I cant use a skirt due to the extension cord for lights needing room to move.I think I solved the problem by ordering a " tree collar",which I've noticed is also being used these days. I don't like giving bad reviews, but this item has room for improvement. Welds are really terrible, the support brackets are all bent - in one of the photos i posted you see there is a bend in the metal - a bolt is suppose to go in there to mount it to the frame - explain to me how its possible to fit a 3 inch bolt in a 3/4 inch space thats bent. I don't know i this item was previously used, but every piece is blemished or missing paint. I really love this spinning bookshelf. It fits perfectly in a small corner next to my couch and stairs. This tree stand is amazing - best I’ve ever had. It’s sturdy and so easy to put your tree in - ours was up in 5 minutes. The tree stand has a spike in the middle, you simply center your tree on it and use the foot lever to tighten it down. It was straight - no messing around with those ridiculous screws. I love it!
