I was pleased to see they did and also the mattress is more substantial at 8” thick versus many that are much thinner. The seating is firmer than many standard sofas, but that is to be expected when there is a mattress tucked into the sofa. I bought this fold out couch for my upstairs bonus room when company comes. I love the mattress and it’s pretty comfortable. Putting it together was a little bit of a challenge, but I did it by myself. The one thing I would complain about is that it says it can be pushed up against the wall as a couch and fall down without hitting the wall, but it did scratch my wall so you have to have it out a couple inches. I bought this ages ago for a townhouse in another city and never used it. It looked good. Now it is in my home being used a lot and we are pretty satisfied. Mattress kinda meh but we bought a 2” topper which makes for a comfy nights rest. And it is ok to sit or lie down on.
