Beautiful lantern, but the seedy glass looked nothing like listing. The glass had a more frosted look which i did not like. Awaiting new panels to be sent, hopefully they look better.. Eric. Branford, CT. Sun Sep 14 2025

Made from metal that's weatherproof, it features a stunning classic empire silhouette that's traditionally inspired with the lower half fitted with transparent glass paneling. Within is space for two dimmable bulbs (sold separately) that rest on a solid brass-finished candelabra base. This lantern hangs from a chain and circular canopy, and it measures 15" long. Originally made to encase the light of a flickering flame, lanterns were first designed for function, not fashion. Today, they incorporate both. Take this one for example: suspended by a chain, this piece is crafted from metal and showcases a cylindrical silhouette, putting a contemporary twist on a traditional silhouette. A wavy glass shade diffuses light from any compatible bulb up to 100W, while a damp location rating makes it ideal for your enclosed patio ensemble.

Beautiful light. Just the right size for our new porch roof.. Judy. Fort Thomas, KY. Wed Jul 19 2023

A throwback to one of Irvin's popular early designs, our store lamp includes the glass globe.

I was a little worried about getting these because they only had 1 Review…. But I got two for a Bunk Room I just designed at our lake house. The are ABSOLUTELY perfect! I love the nostalgic, gas lantern look to them. They were packaged incredibly well, a great size and sturdy … they are just adorable. I love that the metal plate over the light has tiny holes to let the light come though a little on the ceiling. In the picture on Wayfair the glass under the lantern looks white due to the white shiplap behind it … but it’s actually thick, clear glass. These are even better in person. I highly recommend these adorable lanterns And putting them on a Dimmer switch if you can. It’s so nice to be able to turn them up bright or really dim for a nice atmosphere. I may put the light bulbs in them that look like flickering flames. You won’t regret buying these!. Kristi. Gainesville, GA. Sun Dec 28 2025

I paired this with two indoor lanterns that look very similar. It is beautiful and looks perfect at the log cabin entrance peak. Rustic yet classy. What I now have to do is order yellowbug bulbs. The white ones attract way too many bugs.. Hope. Edgartown, MA. Sun May 03 2026
