It looks great. But price is so high. Make sure you have brick wall in your house because it is very heavy also no instructions for drywall. We are very satisfied with the Farmhouse Murphy Bed. The actual product is well represented online, including the color. It took my husband about 12 hours to assemble by himself. It would go a bit faster with a second person. There were a lot of pieces and he did follow the instructions which were well written. The only reason 4 vs 5 stars due to the following: assembly time (it still would take a while for 2 people to assemble) and the cabinet would look better with screw caps giving it a finished look. No one has slept on it yet, but assume it will be fairly comfortable for guests. We would have gone with a thicker mattress but followed the guidelines to make sure the cabinet would close. The slats seem to support the mattress. We hope the mattress does not slide around too much once someone tries to sleep on it. The bed does have to be weighted down to keep it from rising off the floor if no one is on the bed. See photos showing foot of bed not weighted down and weighted down with ankle weights. We plan to place a side table to offer a night stand. The small shelf looks a bit flimsy, so we will be cautious. I am not very tall and was able to open and close with ease. It works exactly how we expected it to. It does take quite a bit of time to set up. It has a lot of moving parts. However, it works very well stores into it extremely small space and the mattress is pretty comfortable. We bought a mattress topper for it and it will be perfect for our spare bedroom. The design is pretty cool. It’s only about 4 feet tall so it does look like a dresser in my studio. Having the charging station is pretty great, I wish that it had power on both sides, and I also wish that the plug was longer and flat because it forces me to push the unit away from the wall, which is not ideal on the small space but it does work and we ran and extension cord to make sure it can all work. Overall, for the sale price, this is an excellent piece and we hope to get a lot of use out of it! One last thing, like most inexpensive furniture, it’s not going to move houses well. Shipping took a bit longer than I would have expected, but it's a very heavy piece of furniture at 362 pounds and it has to be shipped in four different containers by a freight company. We love the color. It's a neutral gray, so not too brown and not too blue, and the material is solid engineered wood. The directions were good and the hardware is well made and everything fit nicely. It is quite a task to put together, so if you're not experienced it is going to be a challenge. We are experienced, but the only reason we knocked it down from a 5 to a 4 is that no matter what we did - and we followed directions exactly as written - the cabinet would not close completely with the mattress on it. After trying everything we decided to take off the straps that are attached to it, and bend the mattress in half, lie on it to keep it tightly together, and then shut the frame inside. I was so skeptical about purchasing this bed because of the price point. It was a really good price.
