The coffee table looks great in our living room. Just the right size, color and quality. However it does have some dents, scratches on one side. It looks as pictured. When the drawer is facing the sofa, the back of the drawer cannot be seen, so it looks really sleek and clean from the other side. My only disappointment is that the top is finished in a matte acrylic. I'm sure it was done to help protect it from spills and such, but real wood (solid, no veneers) like this should have some shine to the surface. Up close, matte on real wood makes it look and feel (!) like Formica. It's still a really good deal for the money and we're happy with it. Oh, and oddly, the drawer itself is made from solid wood and has smooth-acting metal slides, which was a nice surprise. The originator knows how to box! The table came packaged very well and is a beautiful piece. The only thing I was disappointed in is it is smaller than the dimensions that were given on Wayfair.
