Bejmat tiles are Moroccan subway tiles that have been used since way before subways were a thing and shaped into 2" x 6" bricks that are almost 3/4" thick, and can be used in various patterns. Here's what I'll say about this tile. It's actually beautiful and very hard to find one that comes close to it - I genuinely tried. The one bad thing is I can't tell if this company is doing dynamic pricing or what. When I first found this tile it was $13/sq ft then rose to $36/ sqft then $42/sqft then they had a "50% off sale" for $21/sq ft. Pretty frustrating but i ended up hving to purchase it at that price. Now it's $20/sq ft. Not sure what the situation is but it didn't feel good and i tried very hard to find ones that matched my floor tiles as well as these did and could not so ended up going with them anyway at the higher price and they definitely look nice but just a little tough to swallow.. I absolutely love the tile. One of the pictures Wayfair had showed the tile placed diagonally on the wall and I fell in love with it. I asked my tile guy if he could do it and he said sure not a problem truly looks like a masterpiece. The tile has beautiful shades of green I paired a bluish colored tile, grout. The paint color I used on the walls was a succulent from Sherwin-Williams. I will share that boxes of tiles were received broken and Wayfair was great and replace them.
