I wasn't sure from the photo if the sides of the plate were perfectly round or a bit more hand-crafted, but I was pleased to see they're more artisan, hand-crafted - although you can still stack them. 10" is definitely big enough for a dinner plate and they have some depth to them, which is very nice.
