We could never find a sleeper sofa that was comfortable enough to actually sleep on. This daybed was the solution. The bed was easy to put together and except for a Phillips head screwdriver, they provided all the parts and tools needed. The velvet fabric is very pretty. It works well where you need some space most of the time but also need flexibility for guests. The bed can remain extended if preferred. The trundle can be pulled out and in with the wheels and hydraulic system. Comes with slats kit so box spring is not required.

This bed is cute. It does everything that we need to do. It was simple to put together. It’s got a simple look to it. My only concern is that it advertises an 8 inch mattress. It is definitely not able to fit an 8 inch mattress. We ended up buying 6 inch mattresses and my husband had to build extended legs for it to come off the ground enough to be able to slide the bottom in and out even still I’m not able to slide the bottom in and out. I have to wait for my husband to do it for me. I would recommend going with a five or a 4 inch mattress unless you don’t mind possibly not being able to slide out the bottom. Bed is great. My husband put it together, and he had a few challenges, nothing he couldn’t handle though. Overall, the bed is awesome. The only thing we did have to do was buy bed risers for the main frame because the mattress we have for the trundle was too thick, and it didn’t slide under the bed at all; but with the bed risers, the bed fits under perfectly now, and our boys love it..
