Don't go to all the trouble of weaving a lattice pie top. It's so easy to cut a beautiful lattice pie top with a pie top cutter. A reversible cutter makes a beautiful ornate lattice weave on one side and hearts on the other. Dress up your pies for family dinners, bake sales, or just a little something different. To use, simply roll out your top crust dough, lay dough on the cutter, then roll your rolling pin across the dough, and the pattern of cut-outs is made.

Works great. Tip though- place pie crust on top of design and use rolling pin to press down rather than pressing this into the crust on a counter.. Anonymous. Sun Feb 15 2026
