I probably wouldn't have bought something like this from Wayfair normally, but I lumped them in with other basement-related items I was getting and I'm glad I did! I had spent some time researching lights like this and a lot of them were either way more expensive and/or smaller, per unit, but these are a decent size, which makes for a cooler effect when they're all connected up together. Speaking of "effect", these lights are able to put on a show with a variety of patterns, some of which are selectable via the remote, but others for which you'll need the app, which is easy enough to setup and use. The music sync feature worked just OK, though I only tested it with a small speaker--maybe it'll work better with a more robust sound system in play. All-in-all, a solid product for the little project I was looking to do (you can see we have a nice little hallway in the basement for these to light up and have the kids run through).
Note: I actually bought two sets of these and was able to get almost all of them connected, as you can see in the picture (I obviously hadn't mounted them yet), though there seems to be a limit to how *long* of a linkage you can create. If you look at the picture, any units I added on to the end would fail to light up, though that same unit would work if I connected it to the side of one of the lights already in the chain. I didn't spend a lot of time figuring out exactly what the limits are, but there seems to be something.
