Assembly you will need 3 people to help lift the frame, the rest of the time I was able to do everything by myself, the directions are clear and easy to follow, just don’t assume you know what’s next and put in all the screws, it all turned out looking amazing and I recommend using some magnetic hooks for lighting and hiding wires. Have it up for the second season. Good quality but should be made stronger where poles are attached. Had to put gorilla tape over the tares. update - this past summer it tore so much it has to be replaced. Someone should design these with stronger fabric. Update july 2024. I love this gazebo! Unfortunately my previous Wayfair gazebo collapsed due to the tremendous amount of snow and ice we received early in January. I should have removed the canopy, but have not been removing it in past years. Id simply go out with a long push broom and gently lift up each section to allow the snow to fall off. This storm was different. Lesson learned. Unfortunately, its tough to buy a canopy that includes the ribbing that holds it together and atop the frame. Wayfairs customer service department used the replacement canopy I had purchased then returned and applied it as a credit to my account. I then quickly found an open box gazebo, that in my opinion is of better quality. I was eager to get it up, despite the windy weather here in Quakertown PA, but its up and anchored to my concrete patio acquiring plants, comfy chairs and tables, garden decor, etc. (mostly everything purchased at Wayfair, of course)!. This gazebo is fantastic. It took my husband and a friend about 5 days to put it together. They worked about 5 hours every and the last day was just getting the fit on the patio and drilling the holes into the concrete to get it set and then hanging the screens and curtains. They did a great job and my husband followed the instructions fairly easy, as he was in construction and used to reading drawings, so it wasn't hard for him. Everything went together as it should have. I think one screw hole was out of alignment, so he made a new one. Other than that he had no problems putting it together. We love the size of it, its double of what one gazebo normally is. Gives us plenty of space for furniture and a fire table, and still room to add an eating table which I have not purchased yet. We love its wind resistance too. We get some crazy winds in the desert, sometimes 60+ mph, and we've since had just a couple days like that, and we have found it to hold up just great! You do hear a little rattle with that kind of wind, but not much. Its solidly in the ground and the parts are solid, holding together well. Can't beat this gazebo for its sturdiness and beauty. Function is awesome and I know in the summer we'll be able to close the curtains when the sun starts beating in any direction, and screens if the flies show up while eating. We had a major blizzard this winter and I lost a gazebo and a pop-up canopy in the blizzard .The gazebo was over my back deck and I was looking for something to replace that temporarily, but I didn’t want one similar to the pop-up canopy I had in the yard because that thing completely crumbled under the snow. When I saw this, I thought this will work. It looked sturdier than the pop-up canopy and while I wanted a hard top gazebo. I don’t know exactly what I want so I figured this would work and then if I decided to do something on the deck, I could move this into the yard. It came shipped in one box. Everything was rattling around. I was concerned that it would be pieces missing because the delivery service (which I won’t mention, but we all know who it is) lost it in transit and eventually found it and delivered it .The box was beat up but everything was in it .My original plan for this was to take the the soft top off in the winter so I wouldn’t have another issue of collapse if we get heavy, heavy snow like that again. That will NOT be happening. . And here is why .The assembly of the frame was pretty straightforward. Everything is clearly labeled. It was relatively simple. It took two of us about an hour and a half give or take. So that was not an issue. When it came to putting the soft top on, that is a COMPLETELY different story. Everything went on great until be got to the very last corner. We couldn’t get it over the last edge to save our lives. We tried everything. We tried pulling ,we tried 2 sides at once ,we even unhooked two of the poles that were already assembled trying to get it on. It was an absolute nightmare. My neighbor ( who is a handyman) was helping and he was so mad. We eventually got it on. I don’t know how we did it without ripping but we did it finally ..So now that it’s on. It’s nice and tight. I don’t see any problems with sagging because it’s so tight but I’m telling you putting the canopy top on is just awful. The instructions didn’t give any helpful hints so I read some of the reviews giving some ideas to how to do it and none of that worked for us. We literally had to unassemble two poles and put the canopy over the edge of that and then try and get the polle in. I was very worried about ripping or bending , but I was at the point where I just wanted it done it didn’t care. We had to pull like you would not believe it wasn’t simple in any way shape or form It’s up. It’s great. I love it now that it up It looks fantastic but I will NOT be taking the top off . This is a replacement for us. Our last one was ruined in a big wind storm. I chose this one based on it was suppose to be heavier. This gazebo is sturdy. I like the look of it as well. We did have many pieces come bent and screws missing. They did offer us a resolution and agreed to send new parts. So customer service was good. Once my husband was able to get all the pieces working I do like the final look. The legs are not solid wood but wood pieces. However it is still heavy and sturdy. No damage to wood.
