A wave of the hand is all it takes to activate the Nine Stars' stainless-steel trash can, while its fingerprint-resistant coating keeps messes where they belong - within. A custom delay sensor keeps the ABS-plastic dual lid from sliding open at inopportune moments, while the unit's patented soft-close system keeps peace front and center. And if you're a fan of saving, you'll do plenty thanks to unprecedented battery life that allows for approximately a year's worth of openings and closings.

The trash can looks fancy and has two okay size compartments to separate recyling and regular trash. Just wish it didn’t need batteries to operate. Also, the lid cannot be locked to the can which is a bummer. Anonymous. Thu Oct 22 2026

Titan is no ordinary waste unit. It features a patented, hygienic compaction system that enables it to hold up to 3 times more waste than a similar-sized domestic unit. Because Titan compacts your waste, it doesn’t need to be emptied as often, which in turn reduces the number of liners you use and also the number of full liners that you have to deal with between collections. Titan is built to last. Its compaction system and foot pedal have been tested over 100,000 times and are engineered to withstand repeated downward force. It’s hygienic and mess-free too. The unique design ensures only the inside of the plastic liner touches the trash whilst compacting, leaving you with clean hands and a clean bin. It also features a replaceable odor filter for any unpleasant smells.

It comes with a removable plastic inner bucket and integrated grips. Fitting perfectly against a wall, it is very space-efficient too. Its soft-touch opening makes for easy and light operation at the touch of your hand.

Great touch-top can, but finding the right bags can be tricky The touch-top mechanism has been very reliable and the lid closes quietly. I purchased the green and the color looks great in person—it’s nice to have a trash can that doesn’t look purely utilitarian. Changing the bag is easy, although finding bags that fit the shape and size well has been a little more difficult than expected. The 16-gallon capacity is plenty for our household, and so far we haven’t experienced any annoying quirks with the mechanism or design. Overall, it’s attractive, functional and very easy to use..
