Wild style. Each of our surreally sized wicker blowfish pendants is weaved by a single artisan over the course of multiple days. After the reeds are hand-soaked and woven, an additional two days is spent trimming and sanding the sculpture by hand. Each piece is then coated with a clear lacquer to enhance the natural rattan coloring. Breezy and tropical in an entry or floating about your cocktail table, drop a single small pendant for seaside vibes in a powder room, or line a chic school above your counter or long dining table. Wasn’t sure if the big fish was going to make it in the final edit, but he grew on me. Pictured is the largest size. Very sturdy and substantial. But if you’re looking for a light that actually brightens a room, this is not it. There’s one lightbulb fixture, and even if the Max Wattage was 100w, which I don’t think it is, it wouldn’t be enough light to do much of anything because it is surrounded on all sides by heavy wicker. FL/Y is an essentially-styled suspension lamp. The particular transparency of the material and the sheen of the colors recreate the idea of a soap bubble, shimmering iridescently in the light. The shade is not perfectly hemispherical, with the cut-off falling just below the level of the diameter, offering a greater concentration of light.

It’s definitely very unusual light fixture. I wasn’t sure. I liked it when we put it on, but my husband and electrician absolutely love it. So we’re keeping it and I’m getting used to it. It’s not your normal, elegant light fixture. I would say it’s a little bulky, but again it’s could be just me. All the guys are absolutely love it. The only important thing I would like to mention that is the every single light poll has a protective film on it, which is attached really really strong. And we didn’t remove it before we hand it on. This is a really pretty light fixture. It was easy to install and came very well packaged. It is very lightweight and for the price doesn’t seem to justify as it doesn’t seem super sturdy. For instance some of the lights need to be tweaked to turn on and they easily went dark which was a pain. I also wish it were brighter and it is definitely a pinky rose gold and it didn’t work in the original space I had planned but we were able to find another space. Overall, it is a beautiful light.
