The fans themselves are beautiful and work very well in our home. Installation was a pain, even for my dad who has installed many light fixtures and fans. Particularly, there is a decorative piece near the mount that you have to secure in order to hide the screws. It was nearly impossible to secure that piece. We eventually got it, but it took forever. This came with a remote that you can attach to a wall with a detached remote. Performance was excellent; airflow was strong even on lower mode speed . The quiet motor was great, you can not hear or tell if it was running. I think it was a good value for money. Solid wood blades give it a high end and easy lightweight with unit design.
