The fans themselves are beautiful and work very well in our home. Installation was a pain, even for my dad who has installed many light fixtures and fans. Particularly, there is a decorative piece near the mount that you have to secure in order to hide the screws. It was nearly impossible to secure that piece. We eventually got it, but it took forever. The fan and light work well with the remote. The light can be dimmed and there are different speeds of the fan. I give it 5 stars for the look, but 4 stars for the assembly process.. Sara. This came with a remote that you can attach to a wall with a detached remote. Performance was excellent; airflow was strong even on lower mode speed . The quiet motor was great, you can not hear or tell if it was running. I think it was a good value for money. Solid wood blades give it a high end and easy lightweight with unit design. This is an absolutely gorgeous ceiling fan. The walnut blades are polished and have a timeless look, and it makes an absolutely gorgeous statement piece in the middle of the living room.
