Ordered this fan in Brushed Nickel with Seashore Gray blades. We renovated our family room with a rustic/barnwood theme, and this fan actually fits the decor perfectly! Was a little disappointed that it didn't come with a remote (apparently a small oversight on my part). With 15' cathedral ceilings, a pull chain was not an option. A quick call to a very helpful Wayfair sales rep pointed me in the right direction on which remote was compatible with this specific fan model. The remote was easy to install and it worked like a charm. Fan assembly was easy. We also added a longer (24") down rod (purchased from our local box store) with no issues. The item arrived well packaged and installation was relatively easy. The very last part of install was the light and there were two male connections instead of a male female, but just cut the end off and hardwired it not a big deal. A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. So far I love these fans. Ordered them together (2) so they would match rooms that are next to each other. The light is bright enough for large rooms, but can be dimmed, It has 6 speeds which is more than my last fans (only had 3), sturdy, so much lighter than my old ones and easy to put together (per hubby). The real wood blades are nice and very light weight. The wind speed works well for our living room and kitchen. Remote is easy to use and I like that there is a timer on the fan also of 1, 4 and 8 hours. There are 3 light settings so you can choose soft, day, and very bright (the bluish type) to fit your room needs. We like the soft one for the living room and the medium one for the kitchen. This fan is beautiful. The prettiest fan I have bought in years. It even had extra longer blades than the average ceiling fan. The reason I gave it a four star and not five is because of fan speed. I was really excited it had six speeds. Unfortunately having it on the highest speed, six, it only feels like a two on a three speed ceiling fan. Just for added info I am a 64 year old lady and if you’re there you understand the sudden need for speed/fan, lol. Otherwise it is great including the dimmable light fixture.. Tamela. Katy, TX.
