I purchased these for a ceiling fan in my apartment to replace the bell-shaped shades that were on it. I wanted a look that was more contemporary and these shades hit the mark! For however long I am at this apartment I will be pleased with the new look on the ceiling fan, as I am a very, very contemporary decor person. My biggest issue is that the price was outrageous. Unfortunately I could not find anything similar for a less expensive price. If you want a very good contemporary ceiling fan shade - this is the item to get!
