Many years on, this is still a great sofa. I have cats, and the fabric may honestly be about the best-case scenario for a cat household. As you can see in my admittedly dirty sofa photo, claws do occasionally pull up little loops, but they can easily be trimmed or pulled out with very little effect on the overall appearance of the fabric. The modular parts have held up extremely well too. We have reconfigured the sofa plenty of times over the years, and all of the hinges and connectors are still solid. The connectors are substantial metal pieces, not little plastic clips, and nothing has loosened up or broken with repeated use. The storage under the seats is still one of my favorite features. There is a surprising amount of room in there, and having storage built into basically every section makes the whole modular design much more useful. After years of regular use, pets, moving pieces around, opening and closing the storage, and generally not babying it, it has held up remarkably well. I would absolutely buy it again.. Skipp. US. Preamble I’m a real buyer. I paid full price. Every single one of the 200 reviews were incentivized, which means they got it for free most likely. Warning it’s about 105 inches long, not 108. Review I was looking for a cozy, modular sectional that wouldnt be a nightmare to set up, and this corduroy cloud sofa definitely delivers on comfort and convenience right out of the box. The material itself is easily the highlight of the couch. The green corduroy is unbelievably soft to the touch, but the cushions at least as of yet aren’t terribly plush and are quite thin. Putting the couch together was surprisingly stress-free. As promised, the assembly required absolutely no tools, and every piece fit together intuitively without any hassle. I was able to get the entire L-shaped setup put together and in place in no time at all. It is rare to find furniture at this price point that goes together so smoothly without having to dig through bags of loose hardware. The entire shipment came in two small packages that can be lifted by one person. That was impressive. However, there are a few design details that keep this from being a completely perfect five-star sofa. The back of the couch is noticeably low-profile and quite short. If you like to lean back with full upper-back support, you will quickly notice the lack of height, which makes sitting in the middle of a room feel a bit exposed and unsupported. Because of that short back, this sofa is definitely best suited to be placed directly up against a wall. Having a solid wall behind the back cushions gives you the extra support you need to lean back comfortably without feeling like you are pushing the frame backward. Also, while the footers of the couch seem steady, they are plastic. I think they’ll hold up, but don’t expect wood or metal. Also, I really wish the ottoman legs had anti slip rubber pads included. I purchased some for 3 but this should have been included. Additionally, the way the seat cushions sit and fill out creates a slight forward slope. When you sit down, the cushion shape tends to push you forward, making it feel like you are subtly sliding or falling off the front edge. Best sofa ever! It is so comfortable and so easy to put together…just unwrap and let it do its thing. We had to use one piece in another room as it was too wide for my son’s apartment living room space but it worked out perfectly as he now has seating in his bedroom. Overall the couch is nice. Actually a little bigger than I had though, in a good way. The instructions were very easy. I am not big on putting furniture together AT ALL and I was able to do it alone. The only thing I don’t like is the couch is not very steady. The arm rest feel very sensitive. Like don’t lean on them. But I only put them together today so it’s only day 1. So we shall see. We love this modular sofa !!! It is very soft and was super simple to out together. The base of the sofa has storage units and because it’s a modular sofa you can reconfigure to your liking.
