This is a beautiful fixture, highly recommend. We're using it above our rectangular dining room table. The wood is light and the matte brass is a very nice, subdued tone. It's much less yellow than many brushed brass fixtures (which I like); but be aware if you're trying to match any existing finishes. Wanted a pendant that fit the modern Scandinavian vibe of our house, knowing it might be a bit undersized. Overall an interesting and unusual fixture and when we get a larger 100w equivalent bulb it should provide sufficient light. See photos for light dispersion. Assembly was definitely a surprise. And the installation video the instructions link to needs to be slowed down in order to see the technique. (two veneers at a time) Installation itself was straightforward. Have had my eye on this light for a while, but it was rarely in stock. I grabbed one as soon as it became available again and couldn’t be happier with it! The design is absolutely beautiful and feels very unique — there’s honestly not much else like it on the market. It adds such a luxurious and refined look to our space and instantly elevated the room. It is a dark brown stain, looks black to the eye standing back. I’m docking one star because it arrived with a crack in one of the wooden brackets connecting to the shade. Thankfully, Wayfair customer service made it right and worked with us on a solution so we could repair it ourselves without needing to return the entire fixture.
