Love this bench! The original description indicated that the bench had a wood frame. It is actually metal, but with the bronze colored side rails, I think it looks better than wood. If the leather top were wrapped better by shipper, edges of box more solid or even foam this may have not ended up damaged. Not sure who did the damage - Wayfair or shipper or delivery company..
