Deceptive image used for product. I chose this particular listing because it shipped significantly faster than others that looked similar or identical. I added photos to show that the item is not the same as shown in the listing the edges of the dresser are rounded, but not as pictured, and the edges of the desk piece arent flush on either side. I suspected the drawers would be small based on other similar listings but didnt anticipate how shallow they would be in reality - though this is listed as a makeup vanity, not a dresser, so thats my error in expectation. There are multiple minor defects throughout that arent noticeable from afar. Nearly all of the drawers have splits from the screws as you can see in the photo. Im too lazy to deal with the hassle of returning such a large piece, so it will do the job for now, but Im definitely disappointed in myself for choosing a less expensive, faster shipping option. Beautiful vanity!!! 2 NEGATIVES: 1. the lights on the mirror aren’t very strong. Luckily where I moved it to has great natural light. 2. There are two cords for this vanity. One for the actual vanity and one for the mirror. I don’t feel like the photos accurately showed how the cord to the mirror looked. It is very visible and I feel like it should have had a slot to put the cord through the vanity. Maybe they did this so if you don’t want to use the mirror you could convert it to a desk or something but I had to wrap the cord for it to look better and prevent my cat from chewing. I didn’t lower my rating because this is One of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made. It really elevates the room. I love putting on my makeup at it. Great product and very sturdy for the price. Took about 5hrs to put together but I’m no handy man. 1hr of it was trying to figure out the dang cabinet hinges and then I realized I didn’t see the explanation of how the screws in the actual hinge can help adjust the hinge placement for a good fit and open/close. The one true issue I stumbled on during assembly was that none of the drawer handles lined up with the pilot holes. All seemed about a centimeter too low for the equipment to reach.
