This is a very solid dining table with lovely details, especially the base! The wood-grain top is smooth, with no rough edges, and is very durable, featuring a long-lasting, easy-wipe finish. This table is neutral enough for many decorating styles. The base consists of four separate pieces that bolt together, and the top bolts onto a separate piece under the tabletop. It took about 30 minutes, but note that you have to use the included Allen wrench. There's no room to use your own Allen socket tool, so it was a little tedious to assemble.
