I wired the lights into my existing low voltage patio lights for convenience as it comes with separate cords for the pump and lights. I am so happy with this purchase! It arrived right on schedule, and while the setup was fairly straightforward, I definitely recommend having a second person on hand—it’s got some serious weight to it! We did notice both copper spills were leaking slightly from underneath initially, but it was a quick and easy fix using the included silicone. I absolutely love this fountain. The only minor issue was the internal pipe for the power cable; it was a bit short, which limited the water level and made the pump sound a little loud. I easily swapped it out for a longer piece of standard PVC pipe, which allowed for a higher water level and a much quieter operation. Very good quality and heavy. I wanted something that was durable, could drain and leave out all winter. Fairly easy to set up. Only issue, If it's windy out you have to shut it off. Set up was fine . Please note that you can just plug into an electrical outlet . You do not need to “hard wire it” as the description says. It is easy. However, the unit has a defect! The fake copper lip that the water falls from is NOT LEVEL ! Therefore the waterfall will never be like the picture in a nice V fall.
