This is really a nice little bench. It’s actually a nice looking bench with a storage shelf under the seat. There could be many uses indoors or out for this bench. I ordered the 18”x24” and I am using it for an outdoor bench. My husband had no problems putting it together and he was very impressed with how solid and strong it is. This bench exceeded my expectations. You never really know what you’re going to get based on photos. Yes they do help but wow I’m so impressed. It smells like real wood because it is. Super easy to assemble. The first set of screws take some time as they’re placed in a tighter spot but after that it was smooth sailing. I’m obsessed with this bench it’s so beautiful!! Also the hardware comes packaged so that you cut off the top and they’re all in little pockets which I felt was not intentional by the supplier but super helpful when putting together and keeping things organized. This bench is beautifully crafted and took less than 10 minutes to assemble. It even came with felt pads for the bottom of the legs so it won’t scratch or dent wood floors like ours. The price for the quality is acceptable and a novice could install the 5 screws per side relatively easily. You probably don’t need to pay to have it assembled for you. Looks great and very sturdy. Did have an issue with one of the bolts being very tight during assembly, and worried it might snap. But got it in far enough that it doesnt stick out. The wood has a really nice, warm look that makes it feel more like a piece of furniture than just a functional shower bench. It’s also extremely sturdy and feels very solid and well made. There’s no wobbling or feeling like it’s going to tip when using it, which was important to me. It’s a great combination of pretty and practical and adds such a nice touch to the bathroom. I took a chance on an Open Box item and honestly if the measurement weren't off I would love it. It is built very well. I love the velvet fabric and the style. The price I paid was also an excellent deal. It was in brand new condition. The box may have been opened, but the bench had never been out of it. But the measurements are off in both the height and the width. The length of the bench measurement however, was correct. It states the height of the Bench is 18 inches, it is slightly over 17. The depth of the bench it states is 16.5 inches, but it is actually 17.75 inches. So the bench now sits a little short and wide (sticks out from under the table more) for the dining bench I wanted. If this was just for the end of my bed or an entryway bench it would be perfect. It's very stable, incredibly well built and has a lovely comfy seat. Overall it is a very nice bench just not quite what I was hoping for. It did ship quickly and was well packaged and I would by open box items again.. Tam. TN. Tue Jul 14 2026
