It’s a great chair, and a good bargain. I’m tall, and that’s why I ordered a wingback style chair, but I was pleased that the seat height also tall. So much of MCMdanish style Furniture is so low, this was refreshing. The wood is thick, and the build quality is good… I will probably put a little walnut stain on mine to make it match other pieces that I have in the room. Because it’s kind of a “gray“ almost. But it is thick and quality. Same with the upholstery. It’s supple, although the cushion below it is firm. However, it should break in, eventually. Ottoman‘s always look brand new because there’s no weight on them, so I sit and play guitar on the Ottoman quite a bit. These chairs are so beautiful! The wings are distinctive as well as the linen/ burlap fabric combination. The height is quite comfortable, an important consideration for an older adult such as myself. The width of the chair is perfect- not too wide or too small. I love that it came with a lumbar pillow. The style of the legs and wooden frame are so French looking! I have been looking for quite some time to get chairs for my library area and these are perfect. The chairs are quite firm and the seat allows you to sit up ( something that I prefer as compared to seats so deep you’re really lying down). I absolutely love this wingback fur accent chair. It didn’t take too long to put together but I’d say you need to people. Once you get the screws in the chair is rock solid and sturdy.
