The bed is really pretty, sturdy, solid wood, but it’s a few things that prevent me from giving 5 stars. No instructions, took some time to find them online. The headfootboardsside rails don’t perfectly line up, which bothers the perfectionist in me. Not enough screws included to screw in both sides of each slat, had to do every other. I love this bed and everything about it. I have yet to use the under the bed storage by. It is a really nice bed with a wide and short head frame to where I can put more decor around or above. The only thing I did not care for was the assembly of the base frame. I started to put it together and then had to take it apart because of the numbers now it could’ve been user error on my end or the way they printed the pictures in the book, but it was not as easy as I assumed it might be and definitely took me a full day to get it done. This bed is a beautiful soft velvet and the color is lovely. The design is very beautiful as well. The directions say it only takes 30 minutes to put together but I did take me about an hour. I usually put things together alone but I needed help doing the footboard because it is very hard to balance and out the screws in alone. So keep that in mind when you begin constructing. The directions are very clear and it comes with a with a fantastic ratcheting style allen wrench which makes things go faster than normal. Recommend using an 8–12-inch mattress. Can also accommodate an adjustable mattress (base). Frame is pure white with a glossy finish.

There weren't many reviews on this platform bed, so here's my take. First, I absolutely love this platform bed! It came nicely packaged and nothing was damaged. The headboard is lighted and it's so pretty! You DO NOT need to pay for extra assembly because this bed was soo easy to assemble, all you need is a drill and another strong person to help you!
