I just had this installed this morning. I think it looks great. It is a tad bit large for my table but I am getting used to it. It is installed with a dimmer switch that I was already using for my old fixture and it works just fine. My installer noticed that you can adjust the height of the fixture to make it shorter just fine, however, it will not pull back down to make it longer. Perhaps there is a secret to that. This light is absolutely stunning. It looks extremely high quality. This is the most money I have spent on lighting to date and its totally worth it. We purchased the 24 light for our entry. It is hung with the 20 chain. For perspective, we replaced a 20 year old pile rubbed bronze fixture that was 18 in diameter. I had concerns the new light may over power the space but the scale worked out beautifully in the end. The only concern was the instructions.
