This tub is very large and deep. The drain is high enough to get completely covered and it is long enough to lay all the way back. The material is some kind of stone so it is very heavy to move and get in place. This also gives it a cool stone feel when you’re in it. This bathtub is fabulous! It arrived well packaged in a wooden crate so no damage whatsoever. It has a very minimal look, which I love! It’s solid stone and weighs 400 pounds so make sure you have plenty of help moving it. We had it professionally installed so I can’t say if it was easy or not. Great tub, very wide for big shoulders but also doesn’t require a ton of water. Only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is the OEM overflow drain kit is very fragile and not easy to replicate with warehouse parts. You need to be able to tighten the threads securely and not have the thin PVC snap off!! Just plan on upgrading overflow drain kit for $39 from the get go a you’ll be satisfied with the tub! It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite.
