I’m docking one star because it arrived with a crack in one of the wooden brackets connecting to the shade. This light was a much-needed upgrade for our bathroom. Our previous fixture had only two bulbs hidden in opaque, dangling glass balls, making the space dark and dated. This new fixture is a game-changer with FIVE bright LED lights and clear glass shades. Because the bulbs point downward and the bottom is open, the light flows freely over the sink area—perfect for doing hair and makeup in our windowless bathroom. Installation Note Our biggest challenge was finding a fixture that didn’t hang too low. Although this one came with poles, we discovered it could be installed without them, saving us about twelve inches and keeping the lights out of the way. This chandelier makes an industrial statement with a unique twist from the glass panel shades. It arrived in flimsy packaging and one of the glass panels was broken. Also the gold metal pieces that hold the glass panel shades had to be adjusted to make the shades look straight. Wayfair has an excellent policy and customer service, tho, and we received a replacement the next day or two. We picked up bulbs from a local hardware store. These are 40 watt equivalent (4 watt) clear glass bulbs. We wanted and tried frosted bulbs, but only found 60 watt equivalent (5.5 watt).
