I absolutely LOVE my new couch, however the delivery was not a love. After waiting all day for my piece to arrive, 3 movers got the huge box up to my apartment (I was moving furniture for them to get this box through the entrance to the living room) and after knocking into things, they put the HUGE box down & started to walk out. I said, wait, aren’t you suppose to unpack this HUG box & take it away? Answer, “no it’s just a drop off service. the box is your responsibility!” As a single woman living alone I was so upset! After over an hour just trying to open this HUGE box I was finally able to unload. I wish it was made clearer that the unloading would be my responsibility, I spent a lot to get the couch of my dreams but very unsatisfied with the delivery service that was definitely lacking! I received this product for free I exchange for an honest review. Very strange shipping situation as it came in two different boxes from two different points of origin and arrived a day apart. One box had just the back cushions and the other everything else. It was relatively easy to put together with two people and the video with the instructions was helpful. The fabric is a little creased but I think it will stretch out, along with the thickness of the cushions needing to expand. Very well-made velvet sofa. The fabric is really beautiful. You will notice that the back does come in two separate pieces as well as the base of the sofa. It does sit lower to the ground, but is very comfortable. I will use it with my Staging business and it will get a lot of use. Is on the heavier side. That can be a positive if you are using it for every day use. It is long and you could easily stretch out for a nice nap. Overall, I love the sofa. The only negative would be the separate pieces that come together to form the long sofa. I realize this is probably easier for shipping. But if placed against a wall, it is not noticeable.. Susan.
