Love the glass on this fixture! I a similar style wall sconce that I did not like because it was simply the candle with a bare bulb. I have been looking for something to replace it for a long while that wouldn't break the bank. This is perfect value and style. The glass is thick with an almost hand-blown look...the are little bubbles. The gold color is not too bright. It is a painted finish and not true brass but that is also why it is a great value. The color was the same tone when compared so my super pricy brass Richelieu drawer pulls in the kitchen.
