Ok, giving this 4.5 stars for aesthetic and solid wood frame. HOWEVER, please be cautioned There were some dings and splintering that are fortunately hidden after assembly with one acception. The assembly itself self took 2.5 hrs with a couple sanity breaks. Each spindled piece has an item sticker that would be visible and thus needed removal. I ruined my nails and spent 10x as long removing stickers and the glue as I did putting the head and footboard together. After FINALLY getting this bed put together, I almost cried contemplating the labor intensive deconstruction that would be required to take it out of the room. This project is not for the faint of heart. It is, indeed, a project. I would not deduct stars as paying for assembly is an option. Also, an oversight on my part, but the bedframe will not house a mattress and box spring, only a mattress. My biggest frustration was the assembly, and second the blemishes on the frame. This bed arrived in perfect condition and appears as expected. Like with many Chinese products, the instructions lacked any words which would make assembly much easier, and it listed incorrect hardware in Step 3. I’m experienced with assembling furniture and was able to figure it all out. The plastic rattan has nice color and the weave is tight. After assembly the frame is sturdy with no noticeable wobble or movement while in use. The under bed height provides excellent opportunity for under bed storage which is a bonus. This bed frame adds a nice boho “natural” woven texture element to our room and I’m pleased with it. For the price, it is a great option. I’m giving it a 4 because of the poor assembly instructions.. Gorgeous bed! Had a few issues with a board that didn't fit, but Wayfair offered us a discount if my husband drilled a hole or offered to send a replacement part.
