We needed a lateral file that would NOT look like a file cabinet. This was perfect AND we were able to match it with their end table. I was initially concerned the colors wouldn't match (one said it was black/brown and the other only said black) but they were perfect. Great quality, solid and heavy piece.. Shari. Sarasota, FL. Two spacious full-extension drawers with removable dividers accommodate Letter, Legal, and A4 hanging files, secured by a single lock system for privacy. Built with a reinforced heavy-duty structure, supporting up to 220 lbs. Water-resistant & scratch-resistant finish ensures durability. Easy assembly with instructions included.

This is a beautiful piece of office furniture. Looks very good. Took about 3 hours to put together. If you are not good with reading instructions fully get help. It's somewhat strong, but I would only use it for hanging file folders. The bottoms of the draws are made with some sort of hardboard and the weight is not sufficient to hold much of anything else in my opinion. They are just slid into slots on the bottom. The lock is weak but this is for my home so I don't need the lock. It perfectly matches my desk. Otherwise it's very good fit for my home office.. Judy. Boston. Sun May 10 2026

This two drawer filing cabinet combines a natural vacuum formed wood grain with sleek metal handles and tapered legs to create a luxurious style that complements any interior. The filing cabinet comes with a spacious desktop and plenty of storage space, making it ideal for multi-scenario use in a home office or living room.

It took us 4 and half hours (both seniors) to put it together following the illustrations. It’s worth it as it looks good and matches the contemporary office table I got from Wayfair too. The only thing not good but doable are the 2 sliding sides are very hard to push open. I slide bath soap on the groove and it helped a little but not good enough. Otherwise i would have given it a 5 stars.. Lilian. Indio, CA. Sun Aug 09 2026

Heavy, Solid Even a Beginner Can Put It Together! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m really happy with this filing cabinet! The wood feels very solid, and you can tell by how heavy the cabinet is that it’s not flimsy. I was actually able to put it together myself, and I’m definitely a newbie when it comes to assembling furniture, so that was a huge plus. I especially love that the drawers can be used for hanging files—it gives me plenty of organized storage without looking like a typical office filing cabinet. It looks amazing, feels sturdy, and for the price I think it’s a great buy. Very happy with it!. Natasha. Haledon, NJ. Mon Sep 21 2026

FEDX Arrived at the wrong address two doors down. Top of the cabinet dead in the back. Usable as is laser printer fits on top of the cabinet. Heavy had to use a handtruck to bring it to my condo. James. Wed Aug 12 2026

The file cabinet looks great. It had a lot of pieces, but we got it together. Unfortunately, the locking mechanism doesn't work properly. If we install the mechanism as directed, then the top drawer will not close. If we install only the bottom drawer mechanism, then both drawers close, but only the top drawer locks. It will work for me but I can't lock the drawers as intended. It would be impossible to assemble and return. This is a heavy file cabinet. I love the color. It would be beneficial to include an extra plastic locking mechanism in the event of a warped or deformed locking mechanism.. Karen. Durham, NC. Fri Aug 28 2026

I ordered this file cabinet to replace a traditional metal one. I was unable to find a good match for my walnut desk, so I went with oak. The cabinet took 1 hour to build. It feels sturdy, which I was concerned about given the legs. I am not fearful that it will topple once filled with files. I removed one star due to the handles. I expected brushed yellow gold based on the description, however, the pulls are rose gold. As someone who despises rose gold, this would have been a deal breaker for me. Fortunately, the handles are not too visible. I took a picture of the handles next to a yellow gold picture frame for comparison.. Mc. Ofallon, IL. Tue Sep 15 2026

Beautiful Cabinet and great quality. It was on sale and totally worth it. Only reason 4 stars is mine had a dent in it. It was on the side and not that noticeable but a dent nonetheless. Not bad enough to warrant a return. Would buy again for sure!. Jon. Boynton Beach. Sat Sep 05 2026

Not an item for the rigors of a busy office but it is the perfect cabinet to store the items, LEGO instruction manuals, that I needed organized. Blends well with the rest of my furniture without looking "officy".. Denis. Liverpool, NY. Thu Sep 17 2026

Smooth-glide drawer slides provide easy access to contents, while built-in handles create a clean silhouette. A single lock secures the upper file drawer to help keep sensitive files protected. The dark purple is a great color - file cabinets are fine for the price point. One of the two I ordered has a sizable dent on one corner. It it was to be in a corner or not viewable from two sides, I would be ok with it. However, it is being used to support wood for a desk in a brand new church office and plain to see. Can you send us a new one? I examined the box prior to opening and saw no sign of the dent or I would have refused shipment. Please advise.. Alison. Nantucket, MA. Fri Apr 17 2026
