Shipped within two hours of ordering and came in one box with materials well packaged and cushions vacuum packed. They are surprisingly comfortable. You can kind of slide down in them and get your head to rest on the back cushion, which is really nice. Cushions are zippered (they actually come off the cushions in the box, and you put them on) and appear to be washable. The seat itself looks beautiful and like the major brands but at an affordable cost. I bought both a left and right side to create a loveseat. The seat cushions are thick and nice and have ties to connect to the frame. The disappointing aspect is the back pillows are basically worthless. They feel thin like airplane pillows and have no structure. I will have to purchase foam inserts or different back cushions. These chairs are awesome! They replaced the traditional wooden Adirondack chairs with many slats. They were wooden and therefore had to be constantly repainted. Mother Nature won out in the end.
