Refresh your bedroom with this modern wood platform bed. The architectural paneled headboard adds clean structured lines and a solid backrest for reading, while the stepped side profile brings layered depth to the room's silhouette. A pneumatic gas-lift mechanism glides the mattress base open with a gentle pull, revealing a nine-inch deep storage compartment for bedding. Wooden sprung slats on a heavy-duty metal frame support the mattress with no box spring needed. This platform bed fits a modern primary bedroom where smart storage matters. The warm wood finish pairs with many decor styles while keeping the floor open and uncluttered.

This is a solid, well-made bed. I was especially pleased at the quality of the wood. This is not MDF or fiberboard. This is a seven layer plywood with oak veneer. I encountered no problems whatsoever during assembly. The pieces fit perfectly together, and were flush and square. As with any piece of furniture you have to assemble, it is very important to take your time and not be in a hurry. I am very pleasantly surprised with just how good this bed is.. Jeffrey. I love this bed and everything about it. I have yet to use the under the bed storage by. It is a really nice bed with a wide and short head frame to where I can put more decor around or above. The only thing I did not care for was the assembly of the base frame. I started to put it together and then had to take it apart because of the numbers now it could’ve been user error on my end or the way they printed the pictures in the book, but it was not as easy as I assumed it might be and definitely took me a full day to get it done. The hydraulic feature also was very hard to push down the first go around, so I’m interested to see if that’s every single time. Dani123. Tennessee. Sat Jul 04 2026
