It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. The first pieces were difficult because we had to be on our knees to screw it together, after that all was well. Small tools included. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place.. This is a lovely table! It’s high quality and fairly heavy duty. It mounts in the middle and holds the two halves together. It did take awhile to assemble and required a lot of wrenching and tightening and adjusting to get just right. I like the wood grain look and expect it to stay in good shape for years to come..
