I love the color and the weight, heavy duty support with the wooden lattice to put the mattress on. I had to give it 4 stars because although it shows very low on the floor. The Marenzo is built on a single decision: that genuine craftsmanship deserves genuine materials, chosen for their character rather than their cost. Its defining gesture is a headboard woven entirely by hand, each column of natural paper cord gathered and knotted with unhurried precision. Beneath it, every slat is seated to eliminate creak and movement, so the bed holds its stillness as reliably as its form. It is offered in two woods, each with its own voice. The Light Oak is dressed in veneer drawn from American oak imported from the United States, finished with solid oak legs turned to a refined taper. The Dark Walnut is dressed in genuine American Black Walnut veneer imported from North America, with solid Black Walnut legs turned to match, so that from veneer to leg the material speaks in one uninterrupted voice. Because both woods are real, no two frames ever share the same markings. Whichever you choose, the Marenzo arrives as something quietly, irreducibly its own.

This is a nice sturdy bed. Keep in mind that the walnut is more of a cherrywood, and the cording on the headboard is much darker than it looks on the website.. Chinel. Houston, TX. Tue Sep 29 2026

The look of the bed frame itself is great, and the color of the headboard fabric and the frame's wood, appeared true to the photos in the listing. The bed gets a slight hit due to the time and work to put it together. For a one person job it took about 4 hours to put together, and much of that comes from the need to drill all the holes for the slats, as you'll be drilling in to the bed frame itself, and you'll want to predrill those holes (and make sure you don't over drill as it's very possible to break through the bottom and expose the sharp bottom end of the screw. The tolerances around some of the screws and holes that are predrilled are also very tight, and getting the plastic washers on isn't the easiest. So make sure to have a power drill, appropriate drill bits, and a Phillips head bit, or else this bed could take you upwards of 5 to 6 hours to put together.. Richard. Jersey City, NJ.
