It was time to replace a 20 year old granite sink. We had looked for a couple of months and nothing had stood out. This sink caught plenty of attention due to two things…first, the design and second, the basket strainers in the drains. The larger side is the perfect size for cleaning our pots, pans, and skillets (we cook a lot). The smaller side is ideal for washing vegetables or fruits. If you just need to rinse off any dishes, a standard drainer will set right down in the larger side (or at least the one we have does). A standard dishpan will fit in there too! Installation is fairly easy if you’re familiar with basic home repair and plumbing. I have to do some tile repair, so mine is a little more in-depth. This sink is a wonderful choice for any situation. I highly recommend this one. It’s stylish, practical, and looks absolutely amazing! The metal finish is a beautiful addition to any kitchen decor! The cabinet quality is ok. Held together with 2 dowel-pins and 2 screws that connect to pocket-cams at the end of each panel. The overall feel is somewhat solid, but if you move the unit too much it feels as if it may break/fall apart. The sink is pretty shallow, but is ok. The faucet it came with was VERY cheap (only a feed for one water line). Ended up using a separate higher quality faucet so I could have both hot and cold water. Perfect for our need…a fish cleaning station attached to the side of the boat dock. We had to replace a plastic one that deteriorated and cracked due to sun exposure.
