The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic. I have bought other bookcases that use pegs to set the shelves onto, but they are metal.. Jane. Warren, OH. Sat Jun 27 2026

Nicely done with simple screw together pieces. Hinges are already installed so you just need to screw the top to the sides, dividers to the side panels and put the back on. The door drops in place. The drawer also simply screws together so total construction time is minimal. Finished cabinet works well but is a bit shiny plastic looking. Great Value. The Wood quality was very good, there were no wood grain discolorations. There were some minor texture issues, but not that noticable. They seemed to be inflicted during the shipping/delivery process, but not suffient to have the unit sent back. The value vs the size and construction materials is excellent, and if you like wood with minimal MDF,this cabinet is an excellent selection.. Steven. San Clemente, CA. Sat Oct 03 2026
