We didn't realize until it arrived but the sleeper is meant to slept on between the sofa arms, rather than from the back out, like traditional sofa sleepers. Regardless, we did have a sense going in that this won't be great for our taller guests but it still works for us. We ordered this in Dorset Cherry Performance Chenille and we love it. Like sofa, it replaced a large, bulky sofa that blocked too much window & my legs didn't touch the floor when sitting on it. This new sofa is perfect for my space. Best bang for the buck! I bought the three seater couch that came with (2) ottman's as well as the chair. The installation directions were super easy and I put them all together quickly. Very well-made velvet sofa. The fabric is really beautiful. You will notice that the back does come in two separate pieces as well as the base of the sofa. It does sit lower to the ground, but is very comfortable. I will use it with my Staging business and it will get a lot of use. Is on the heavier side. That can be a positive if you are using it for every day use. It is long and you could easily stretch out for a nice nap. Overall, I love the sofa. The only negative would be the separate pieces that come together to form the long sofa. I realize this is probably easier for shipping. But if placed against a wall, it is not noticeable.. Susan. This took me about 2 hours to put together because I did not have a power drill on hand for the last step. I would recommend you get a power drill or have one handy for the screws at the end. The full bed is comfortable to sleep on. It’s soft and cushy. I slept on it for 5 nights straight and didn’t feel any back pain. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. One person can put it together, but it won’t be super easy with the parts that require you to carry or lift the parts to merge them together. The entire furniture comes in 3 separate boxes, all labeled. If you’re doing the assembly without professional help, you’ll have to first remove all the parts from the boxes before reading the assembly instructions in full. I got a bit confused with how the parts were organized until I realized some of the smaller parts were kept within the bigger parts to condense them together. The packaging was also superb. I didn’t have any damaged parts and could easily remove the parts from the delivery box. Positively IN LOVE with these sofas! Firm enough for me, soft enough for my husband. I’ve sat on countless sofas at furniture stores and immediately popped up with a “Nope!” So naturally I was nervous at 2k a pop, no cancels or returns and a front door that wasn’t quite 36” wide as needed per the delivery specs. They had the look I wanted which no local store seemed to carry, totally washable which is a must with large dogs so I took a chance- and oh am I glad I did.
